One of the most positive things a family member ever did for me didn’t come with grand words or big gestures—it came in silence.
During a tough season of my life, my sister would quietly leave little handwritten notes on my nightstand. Just a sentence or two
—“You’re stronger than this,” “I’m proud of you,” or simply “Breathe.” She never mentioned them, never asked if I read them. But I did. Every single one.
