If you could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?
If I could erase one word from existence, it would be “impossible.”
How many dreams have been abandoned, how many ideas left unexplored, just because someone believed they were impossible? This word has a way of shrinking potential, planting doubt, and killing ambition before it even has a chance to grow.
But here’s the thing—most of what we call impossible is just unexplored, untried, or unfamiliar. History has proven time and again that the impossible is only temporary. So, if we stopped using the word, maybe we’d start believing in what is possible instead.
